its quite amazing how strongly i associate certain circumstances with the music that i play. its a habit for me to put 1 song on repeat and listen to it until it tires itself out. during that period of time, if life is distinctly different than the norm, i proceed to make associations. certain r&b songs bring me back to the november of grade 10 - a super sad november. certain love songs to the winter when a childhood friend and i fell in like and decided to frolick in the snow. new york is strongly associated with coldplay. but whats really funny is that 'first train home' by imogen heap is associated to a place that i havent even physically been to before. whilst reading a trilogy, i kept playing that song over & over again, and now that i listen to it i cant help but recall vivid images from the book. LOL such a random post, but i was just taken by surprise.

if i ever get Alzheimer's, just give me music .
